1991
Anglotex is born as a small sewing-only unit with a team of 7 people working as a contractor for bigger Textile Manufacturing Exporting Companies.

1994
With business growing very organically, Anglotex redesigns its business model. Investments are made in a bigger facility and people gets hired for the cutting and packaging departments.
This marks the end of Anglotex as a contractor, and the begining of Anglotex as a company able to partner directly with Exporting Agencies by managing the full order for them, from the sample development to the production execution.

2002
Team number goes over 40 direct employees and anual turnover of the company goes over 1.000.000M/€ for the first time.

2011
Second generation of our founder’s family joins the business while the company was going through some very challenging years as a result of the global economic recession.

2012
Aiming for a more differenciated product, Anglotex reinvents itself again, this time into a more proactive, more customer-orientated company, and investments are made mostly in R&D.
Business bounces back from a 3-year downward curve, and the year closes with a 50% growth on the anual turnover in comparing to the previous one.

2016
With the business growing at a relatively fast pace and the company performing well at all levels, a reputation of reliable partner for brands looking for high-end product quickly spread throughout the industry and new partnership opportunities in new markets were presented to us. We proudly received the “VENDOR OF THE YEAR AWARD” from one of our most important customers.

2019
Being mindful that we are heading towards a Fashion Industry more conscious, more clean, more sustainable, Anglotex implemented the GOTS and BCI certification. Also, the company made investments to made sure 100% of its energy comes from solar power and around 15% of the company’s total turnover in 2019 was generated from Recycled Materials, not to mention that organic cotton, bci cotton and others alike generate over 50%.

2020
In an year that will absolutely go down as the most challenging yet, not only for our company, but for our team at a personal level, for our vendors, our peers, and our customers, Anglotex was still able to present a 20% growth on the first half of the year.
Amid all the uncertainy, investments were still made in more cerfication and compliance (RCS), machinery and technology update, corporate image renovation, and a plan for a 360º supply chain was put into place.
